My beloved
brother Milo, not ALL prophecies have been fulfilled at the cross, and
not ALL has been accomplished as yet; certain former covenants remain in
effect. Neither has Torah been abolished.
What has changed
is that the Law no longer lords over the believing Jew. Yeshua has taken
its place, and HIS yoke is light. Over the Gentile the law never exercised
this lordship in the first place.
What so many
Christians fail to realize is that all this “political” fuss over Israel
is a satanic attempt to prevent Yeshua’s return. According to Christians,
“politics” have nothing whatsoever to do with Messiah, the cross, salvation,
G-d’s Kingdom, or any geographical area. If that were so, there would be
no Messianic Reign.
G-d established
governments, thrones and authorities. A King without a sovereign people
and land, without a royal house and throne functions not as a king. As
long as the Jews were scattered, Yeshua’s Return seemed far off. But now
the Jewish people are back as a sovereign people, in their own land, no
longer nameless. Yeshua’s Return is imminent.
“Church” is
not a name; it is the transliteration of Kehila and means “assembly,” community,”
“congregation,” as well as “called out ones.” The true name of G-d’s people
and heirs of G-d’s promises, both natural and spiritual, is Israel. Yeshua
shall reign over this natural and spiritual seed of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob from JERUSALEM - the literal, geographical capital of that people.
There He shall take His seat on the throne that was established for Him
in the Tent / ohel of David.
And everyone
whose name is recorded in the Lamb’s Book of Life and who shares in the
First Resurrection and the Wedding supper of the Lamb shall return with
Him, shining brightly like the stars, all of them sons and daughters and
priests of G-d, neither Jew nor Gentile, master nor slave, superior male
nor inferior female, the only difference being the measure of their glory
according to their measure of Christ-likeness.
Indeed, there
is no separate blood covenant for believing Jews and believing Gentiles,
for in Messiah both are created as one new man, both being joined together
into a dwelling place of G-d in the Spirit[54].
But there is
still a NATURAL people descended from the House of Israel and the House
of Judah, and G-d’s covenants still stand with them who have not
come to faith in Yeshua. If they live under the Law they will be
judged by the Law, and their names may get recorded in the Book
of Life[55], but not in the Book of Life of
the Lamb[56]. They may live (else the patriarchs
and matriarchs, even Moses and all the prophets would not have eternal
life?) but their nature and glory will be as much inferior as the
first Adam is to the Last Adam, as the earthen glory is to the heavenly.
Wherefore also Paul, blameless as to righteousness under the Law, considered
his blamelessness as filthy rags when compared to the surpassing worth
of knowing Yeshua the Messiah and being found IN HIM[57].
There are two
books of life and two resurrections. Two kinds of people will live on the
new earth: those of heavenly origin and glory will be as innumerable as
the stars[58], and those of earthen glory will be
as innumerable as the dust of the earth and the sand on the seashore[59]
The latter will form the nations who will bring their glory into the city
of G-d come out of heaven, and partake of the leaves of the tree of life
for healing[60]. Those of heavenly origin
and glory will need no healing, for as partakers of the divine nature they
will be like Yeshua Himself, true sons and daughters of G-d, serving in
His city as His ministers, His priests[61].
What more can
I say? The teachings on this subject are many.
If you can
see, recognize, accept and love the Truth, G-d will protect you from the
great delusion that has already begun to engulf the earth. The knowledge
and love of Truth will shield you from the terrible deception by which
G-d separates the wheat from the chaff as He gathers people upon His threshing
floor.
Let us turn
from the lie that 1800 years of Gentile Christianity has taught and start
afresh, searching out G-d’s Word, carefully dissecting it to KNOW the Truth,
to embrace it and love it and fill ourselves with it, to have abundant
light even at night should our Bridegroom tarry.
May this teaching
bless you, the reader and student of the Word, even if you are taken out
of your “comfort zone.” I pray that none take offense, refusing to
check it out, but that all be enriched and blessed and prepared for the
