 A
miraculous finding of an ancient
Book of Psalms in a bog in Ireland sheds an interesting light on this
present war of Israel in defense of her citizens and cities. Recorded by
various
news sites such as CNN the particularly interesting part of this amazing
discovery is that the book was found OPEN to a page where,
written in Latin, Psalm
83 is recited in which the
nations are listed who have made an alliance - the Arab
League - to wipe Israel off the map - 18new
developments.
Only
the Almighty, the Holy One of Israel, knew where this book was hidden.
He alone could cause it to be found at the precise time when Arab League
members such as Iran and Syria are supplying the terrorist organization
Hizballah
in Lebanon with weapons to war against
Israel. The declared aim of Iran's "supreme leader" is the destruction
of Israel, who announced - unaware of the words in Psalm
83 - that with the help of Allah Israel would be wiped off the map.
Obviously the Holy One of Israel is making a strong statement here that
He is watching over Israel and hearing the threats to her existence by
Israel's neighbors. He knows of their plots to "take possession for themselves
of the pastures of G-d." And He will do to these nations (see their present-day
representation as listed in the Watchmen
Prayer page 6) as is written in Psalm 83. Hizballah19
will eventually "eat dust" just as she suggests in her "open
letter".
USA
Today and ABC
purposefully avoided mentioning this book having been found open to Psalm
83, just as almost all international news stations (with perhaps the
exception of FOX News) give only a lopsided, anti-Israel image of Israel's
war against Hizballah in Lebanon. Reports by Jewish Messianic Israelis
are undoubtedly the most trustworthy, as they are not tainted with a "politically
correct" mindset but report both from immediate insight on the ground and
from a Sriptural perspective. The Jerry
Golden Report is one of these as well as the DATELINE
ISRAEL by the MAOZ
Israel Ministries. In addition, the newsletters of OR
TZION provide both prophetic insights and a more personal view, as
well as a large number of related, informative links.
What follows is a report by Sondra Oster Baras, Director of Christian
Friends Of Israeli Communities (CFOIC):
I believe the above links and the Emergency Bulletin speak for themselves.
By now the number of rockets fired on Israel's cities approaches 3,000.
Pray Psalm 83 by VOICING
the Word of G-d so that G-d's mighty angels who HEARKEN TO THIS VOICE will
go forth and perform it!20
Amen and Amen!
Yours in Him,
Annelore

Following is a quote from the article posted by National
Geographic News online: "Mention of Psalm
83 has led to misconceptions about the revealed wording and may be
a source of concern for people who believe Psalm 83 deals with 'the wiping
out of Israel,'" officials at the National Museum of Ireland, where the
manuscript is being kept, said in a statement today.
The true meaning of
what the text reveals, they say, has been quite literally lost in translation.
"[We] would like to
highlight that the text visible on the manuscript does NOT refer to wiping
out Israel but to the 'vale of tears' ('valle lacrimum')," the officials
said.
The
newfound prayer book, they explain, is an ancient Latin translation from
the Greek known as the Vulgate. But the King James Bible, which was translated
from Hebrew to English more than a thousand years later, assigns different
numbers to the psalms.
So the Psalm 83 found
in the Irish book, they say, appears in King James as Psalm 84, which is
a song of praise and longing for godliness. "Blessed is the man whose strength
is in thee," the passage reads, "… who passing through the valley of Baca
[the vale of tears] make[s] it a well."
The museum officials say they expect the difference
speaks for itself.
"It is hoped that this
clarification will serve comfort to anyone worried by earlier reports of
the content of the text," they said. |
