I remember President George W. Bush declaring, “A terror attack against one American is like attacking all Americans!”, and promising severe reprisals. 

Yet at the G8 summit, while acknowledging Israel’s “right to self-defense”, the President urged restraint. What restraint, may I ask, was shown when, unprovoked, US forces blasted Afghanistan and Iraq, pulverizing everything they hit?

Had America’s cities been struck by Afghanistan and Iraq? Did they send hijacked planes into the WTC towers and the Pentagon? And where are Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction - the reason given to justify invading this sovereign nation?

Israel is being attacked within her sovereign territory and is fighting to survive. Hizballah, a terror organization tolerated by the Lebanese government, is striking Israel from within Lebanon. This is a clear act of war and demands retaliation. We can no longer kowtow to the nations who say “Bow down, Israel, that we may pass over you,” and Israel’s leaders have made our nation’s back like the ground and like the street for the nations and their interests to pass over us3. As is written in G-d’s Word, blessing and prosperity come from standing WITH the Jews and their nation, from supporting and blessing them. This is for G-d’s sake and for the sake of His Son, Who is from the Jews and Who will return to the Jews! Those who oppose the Jews will reap catastrophies, destruction and downfall, as is written in G-d’s Word.. President Bush has vowed to fight terrorism to the end, yet tells Israel to show restraint in the face of annihilation. What a horrific double standard!

However, as of present news, the Bush administration has rushed a delivery of precision-guided bombs to Israel, which requested the expedited shipment last week after beginning its air campaign against Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. And Secretaty of State, Condoleezza Rice, voiced her support of Israel's actions against the Hizballah, clarifying that a "ceasefire" would only return the situation to the status quo with nothing changed for the better. She explained to Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad Saniora that if the violence between Israel and Hizbullah fighters in Lebanon ends only to restart within weeks, "then all of the carnage that Hizbullah launched [i.e. in Lebanon and Israel] by its illegal activities, abducting the soldiers and then launching rocket attacks, we will have gotten nothing from that."

But international voices, especially of the UN, are accusing Israel of excessive military force for mere two abducted soldiers, failing to state that Israel's actions are in retaliation for the katjusha rockets fired into Israel. 

Lebanese civilians are being killed and buildings destroyed because the Lebanese government once again allowed a terror organization to entrench itself into Lebanese territory, into dense civilian population centers as had been done previously by the PLO. Like the PLO, Hizballah has formed a state within a state, terrorizing the Lebanese population and attacking Israel's north. When Israel had no choice but to take action against the PLO for the protection of Israel's citizen, Israel was hailed as liberators by the Lebanese people. Israel had almost finished off the PLO when the international community, with Ronald Reagan in the lead, forced a ceasefire upon Israel. The PLO terrorists left triumphantly a badly hurt Lebanon.

Hizballah has been planning this war for six years ever since Israel left southern Lebanon. Why did the Lebanese government not send its army against this terror organization, disarm, dismantle and drive them out before they could entrench themselves? The blame for the present war and destruction should be  squarely placed at the feet of the Lebanese government, not at Israel's feet!

Pray, beloved, pray for G-d to station His warrior angels round about Israel and her cities, to protect Israeli soldiers (particularly those who are called by His Name), and safeguard our nation - for HIS Name’s sake. Pray for enlightenment among the nations as to Israel’s eliminating Hizballah. Israel must succeed (also for the sake of the Lebanese people), or terrorism will terrorize even more.

The Lord had me warn about the greater evil of fanatic Shiites⁴ being released in the wake of forcing evil Saddam from power. Whoever has seen Shiites commemorating the death of their leader murdered centuries ago with the ritual “Ashura”⁵ will have gotten a glimpse of their bloody fanaticism. Saddam kept them under iron fist control, but Bush set them free to expand their fanantic Islam in Shiite fashion – torture, kill and mutilate.

Hizballah is Shiite! The south of Lebanon has become a Shiite territory! Hamas is Shiite! Islamic Yihad is Shiite! The Iranian leaders are Shiite! Ayatollah Khomeini was Shiite and turned Iran upside down. It was he who fueled fanatic Islam, the shedding of innocent blood in the name of Allah! The Iraqi Imams who label America's forces "occupiers" and call upon the "faithful" to give themselves to martyrdom like their beloved Hussain and shed the blood of the American "infidels" are Shiites!

The Western and Shiite' mind is as far apart from each other as morning from evening, as east from west. When will the West grasp that "negotiations" with the dispised infidels is only viewed as "weakness"? Deceiving and tricking the "corrupt" Westerners and killing them wherever possible alone justifies the "negotiating table" for this Islamic mindsetⁱ.

May Israel’s present government NOT follow former Prime Minister Sharon who said one thing but did another: “No negotiations under fire! No ceding of any land! The settlements are our buffer zone, our strength! The settlers are our heroes!” He then turned and became their worst enemy, destroying their settlements and livelihood. May there NOT be a repetition of this. May these present kidnappings of Israeli soldiers (average age between 18 – 22) and firing of rockets upon Israel’s cities in the north and south open PM Olmert’s eyes to the fact that unilateral withdrawal will NOT bring peace but will only serve to further the terror and bloodshed.
