Hurricane Katrina’s (the name meaning “Pure”10) force clearly concentrated on New Orleans, one of America’s most immoral cities of sexual depravity, with public display of homosexual acts, Mardy Gras, gambling houses, prostitution, witchcraft, vodoo, etc. G-d wiped off Sodom and Gomorrah from the face of the earth. New Orleans He “purged” of its moral filth by Katrina the “Pure”, flooding the city with waters. She now will literally be “cleaned up. Hence we see G-d having combined judgments on both America’s dividing up of G-d’s land as well as on her moral depravity such as represented by New Orleans*.

Another 3 storms are presently “approaching”: Ophelia11, Nate12, and Maria13. Hurricane watches for Ophelia are posted for the Carolinas while Ophelia sits stationary off the Southeast Coast14 in a "waiting position", ready to either strike Florida (Cape Canaveral?) and the Carolinas at the Almighty's command, or to dissipate.

The name Ophelia is given two very different meanings: one is “help”15, the other is “serpent”16. The name Nate17 (short form of NATHAN18 or NATHANAEL19 or JONATHAN20) means “Gift of G-d” or “Given by G-d”. The name “Maria” may mean “Star of the Sea”21, “Sea of bitterness”, or “rebelliousness”22.

All 3 names carry a message both for good as well as for evil. Which of the two will manifest toward the shores of America will largely depend upon the decisions of President Bush and Condoleezza Rice. The latter demanded, in a shouting match with Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, that Israel built a connection between Gaza and the Westbank (which will literally cut Israel in two) and declared that she will not accept “no” for an answer.

Who does she think she is? Israel is a sovereign nation, not America’s 51st state!

As the Lord has frequently warned before, disaster, punishment and judgment will progressively increase if the United States of America continues on this destructive path. Should G-d no longer warn us by His prophets nor send any immediate warning signals, then G-d will have turned His face away from America, and therewith His mercy and grace.

10 KATHERINE: Gender: Feminine;  Usage: English; Pronounced: KATH-u-rin, KATH-rin; From the Greek name (Aikaterine). The etymology is debated: it could derive from the earlier Greek name (Hekaterine), which came from (hekateros) "each of the two"; it could derive from the name of the goddess HECATE; it could be related to Greek (aikia) "torture"; or it could be from a Coptic name meaning "my consecration of your name". The Romans associated it with Greek (katharos) "pure" and changed their spelling from Katerina to Katharina to reflect this  - "Behind the Name" - name = katherine
"123-Baby-Names" - Catherine:  Catherine – Greek - Pure
Katherine, Kathy, Kathleen – Greek – Pure; Katrina  ****  Variant of Katherine

18 Means "giver" in Hebrew. This name can also function as a short form of JONATHAN or NATHANAEL. See “Behind the Name” - Nate
19 From the Hebrew name Nethane'el which meant "God has given".
20 From the Heb.name Yehonatan (contracted to Yonatan) meaning "YAHWEH has given".
21 123-Baby Names: Mary -  Latin (middle ages) - Star of the Sea; Miriam – Hebrew – Rebellious
22“Behind the Name” - Mary; - Usual English form of Maria, which was the Latin form of the New Testament Greek names Mariam or Maria (the spellings are interchangeable), which were from the Hebrew name Miriam. The meaning is not known for certain, but there are several theories including "sea of bitterness", “rebelliousness", and "wished for child". However it was most likely originally an Egyptian name, perhaps derived in part from my "beloved" or my "love". This is the name of several New Testament characters, most importantly Mary the virgin mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene.
