The next day people were indeed holed up in the place, exposed to the glaring sun and 100^o F. I was reminded of the days when survivors of Hitler’s death camps tried to make their way to Palestine¹², but were prevented by the British who detained them in a camp on Cyprus¹³. Here our own soldiers and police prevented our people from reaching Gush Kativ, and held them captive behind fences. Eventually they were allowed into the village where kind people opened their homes to let them take showers and have some food. But they remained unbroken in spirit, still singing, dancing and believing G-d.
 

As the date of disengagement¹⁴  is drawing nearer opponents have been employing more forceful means such as blocking major intersections nationwide to get the people to stop and listen, think and consider, and stand with their brothers and sisters of Gush Kativ and Shomron. As a consequence jails have begun to fill up with opponents to the Disengagement Plan. 

But Arik Sharon is still in power! 

The ever growing majority of the nation (including top brass, ministers and even Druze) is against disengagement -- but Arik Sharon remains undeterred! He and his sons are under investigation for fraud and bribery, yet Arik Sharon still occupies the Prime Minister’s Office. Members of Knesset (Parliament) called for a non-confidence vote to topple Sharon’s government and bring in new elections -- but the man has still managed to remain in power. Incessant prayers and intercession rise up to G-d to intervene -- yet Sharon continues unhindered to betray our people, bringing upon us a new wave of terrorism more harrowing than the previous ones.

Why does G-d not answer our prayers? Has He stopped His ears to our cries? I keep reminding Him that He promised He would not deal again with our people as He did formerly¹⁵, but would save and heal us for His holy Name’s sake, keeping Covenant lest He should be profaned among the nations¹⁶. 

Why are Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Al Aqsa Brigade terrorists, veritable human beasts, rewarded with the land, houses and infrastructure of Gush Kativ, meanwhile President George W. Bush vows to carry on the war on terror until terrorism is obliterated? Is G-D allowing all this??? Did HE allow the Holocaust? Is HE allowing the years of terror against Israel?

NOOO!!! I have reached the definite conclusion that the only thing G-d IS allowing is man’s FREE WILL of choice and the resultant consequences! G-d never ever interferes with man’s free will! He did not even interfere with the angels’choice when they joined Satan’s rebellion.

It is George W. Bush’s double standard and the European Union’s bias for the Palestinians that forces the deportation upon the residents of Gush Kativ. The Media calls it “evacuation” (a word which implies the possibility of return such as after natural disasters) rather than expulsion, even though Gush Kativ is to be handed over to the PA, an organization of terrorists (not “militants”) who terrorize, rob and brutally murder not only Israelis but also their own people. 

The Bush family (for their own oil interests) wants to keep “good relations” with the Saudi royal house, the main financiers of global, Islamic terror organizations. Hence Israel must pay the price for Bush/Saudi interests. George W. Bush claims to have “found G-d”, yet seems to be unaware of this G-d’s love for the land and people of Israel. Else he would not so adamantly inist upon implementing the “Disengagement Plan” and the “Road Map”¹⁸. 

In distress I cried to G-d, “WHY, Abba, are You allowing these things to progress? Why???” The answer is even more distressing! Yes, so very discomfiting, that I feel quite sure when I tell it many will want to do to me what King Zedekiah did to Jeremiah¹⁹.

It is NOT G-d Who is allowing this disaster. It is a weak and passive church, too busy with her own interests and programs, who is allowing this evil plan to proceed. She chooses to remain silent and inactive, even siding with the very enemy of G-d and His people, out of ignorance or from anti-Semitism.
