Arise, Church, and be warned! Last year the Lord clearly warned that the time of slumbering was long past, that the upward and downward vortex would strike as suddenly as a tornado. G-d has warned in faithfulness for at least twenty years, but most saints live as before, thinking such warnings to be mere doom sayings! They feel secure. But hear the sentence of the Lord, our Redeemer, who will save Israel; the L-RD of hosts is His name, the Holy One of Israel.

Isaiah 47:4-5, 7-9 [LB, and my inserts]: “Sit in darkness and silence, O America; never again will you be called ‘The first lady of nations,’ the number one leading power… You thought your reign and supremacy would never end, so that you did not lay these things to heart or remember their end. You didn’t care a whit about my people or think about the fate of those who do them harm [namely the Palestinians]. You pleasure-mad kingdom, living at ease, bragging as the greatest [nation] in the world – listen to the sentence of My court upon your sins. You say, ‘I am superior, there is no nation like me, not a one can compare. I shall not sit as a widow or know the loss of children.’ Well, those two things shall come upon you in one moment, in full measure in one day: widowhood and the loss of your children, despite your many sorceries²³ and the great power of your enchantments.”

These are horrible words of judgment, and I very much wish I could speak differently, just as Jeremiah must have wished. For the false prophets who prophesied from their own minds condemned Jeremiah for the words of truth he had heard from the Lord.

Well, beloved, there are still prophets who prophesy from their own minds, the wishful thinking of their heart and of the people of America. But this is not what provides escape from judgment --- only the words of truth do! Two years remain to yet turn things around, to render judgment less severe. May the saints make the most them!

You may ask, “What can we do?” Firstly, pray! Pat Robertson of CBN has already called for 50 days of prayer, and many thousands have committed to it. However, I heard the Lord say, “there is a leak rendering the prayers less effective. They are praying for America only, failing to include Israel in their petitions. And yet, it is precisely because they spurned my people Israel that these judgments have befallen America.” And before my eyes I saw a bucket into which countless prayers were poured. Yet when I looked in, the bucket was almost empty. IT HAD A HOLE! That song, “there’s a hole in the bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza,” came to mind, and the answer, “so fix it, dear Henry, so fix it!”

How can it be “fixed?” First of all, repent of callousness, of being too self-absorbed and self-oriented; repent of lukewarmness, of not standing more firmly committed with G-d’s nation and land. Repent of excluding Israel from the nationwide intercession. Repent of slumbering, of not heeding the divine warnings and signs of the time, of judging between America and Israel according to the flesh, for G-d’s portion here on earth is Israel with Jerusalem as His royal residence. Let the American saints confess and repent with all their heart of this sin of omission, of negligence, and THEN get to prayers of petition and intercession on behalf of America with all their might, with Israel being a central focus.

Prayers without prior repentance will be like a punctured tire: no matter how much air is filled into it, it  remains useless. Prayers that fail to include Israel will be like a bucket with a hole in it. But repentance from the heart, and praying the Word of G-d in intercession for America together WITH Israel will have a major impact. 

Thus far, the prayers have not been very effective, as is apparent from the events at the UN General Assembly meetings, from the plane crash in Queens, and from President Bush Jr. honoring and inviting Islam into both the House of Representatives and the White House, and therewith into the very heart and artery of the American nation.

Let me list here for you a few dates and quote a few e-mail messages I received, to illustrate yet more plainly the situation America is in.

Saturday, November 10th: President George Bush Jr. addressed the UN General Assembly, declaring his administration’s and America’s support and commitment to the creation of the state of Palestine upon the soil G-d covenanted with an oath by His own Name to Abraham, which He confirmed to Isaac (not Ishmael/Arabs/Moslems) and established with Israel (and not Esau/Rome/nominal Christianity)²⁴. 
Sunday, November 11th: the international terrorist and enemy of G-d and Israel, Yasser Arafat, by the hailed by the whole world as “President” Arafat, leader of the Palestinian people and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, delivered to the UN General Assembly a speech of the most blatant, shameless lies and infamous accusations against Israel²⁵. Not a single member of the entire Assembly withstood or refuted him.

Monday, November 12th: An American Airlines airbus, flight # 587, crashed down in Queens, New York, causing large fires and great plumes of smoke to be seen from far.
Friday, November 16th: The Muslim chaplain of Georgetown University officiated at the opening prayers of the House of  Representatives on Capitol Hill. In the evening President George Bush Jr. hosted a dinner in honor of the occasion.

Monday, November 19th: “President Bush, eager to improve America's reputation in the Muslim world, welcomed 50 ambassadors from Islamic countries for a traditional meal and prayer at the White House on Monday to mark the start of Ramadan. It is thought to be the first time that Muslims will have knelt and touched the floor with their foreheads in a formal ceremony in the official home of American presidents.”²⁶
 

Following is the text of an e-mail by the Capitol Hill Prayer Alert Foundation²⁷: “BUSH TO HOST ISLAMIC PRAYER MEETING IN WHITE HOUSE MONDAY”

“Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” 
(Ex 34:14).

“If your brother, the son of your mother, your son or your daughter, the wife of your bosom, or your friend... entices you, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which you have not known... you shall not consent to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him or conceal him... because he sought to entice you away from the L-RD your G-d...” (Dt 13:1-11).

“President Bush has erred greatly by promoting the religion of Islam in various ways. But hosting a prayer meeting in the White House for an openly anti-Christian religious group is crossing a dangerous threshold. Coupled with the Bush administration's commitment to Palestinian statehood, our nation may be entering a new era of crushing judgment from a Sovereign God who is not unmoved by our nation's infidelity.”

“A Muslim prayer meeting in the White House is an act of blasphemy toward the God to whom we owe everything, a mockery of American Christians and Christianity, a desecration of the memory of our nation's Christian Forefathers (some of whom lived in the White House), a declaration of contempt for our nation's Christian heritage, and an act of departure from the Living God. There is a vast difference between entertaining strangers and entertaining the worship of false gods.”

“The President's sin is even more grievous than when Hezekiah showed the Babylonian emissaries his palace and the treasures of his kingdom. Hezekiah's act led to the overthrow of Jerusalem and the Babylonian captivity (2 Kg 20:12-19). But even Hezekiah would never have allowed the Babylonians to worship their gods in his house. Where will President Bush's act lead?”

“We can only hope and pray that the solemn assembly planned by Congress, the National Day of Prayer planned for the day before Thanksgiving, and the prayers of God's people across America will neutralize the demonic power that will otherwise be unleashed at this unprecedented White House gathering.”

“Please Join Us in Prevailing Prayer for our Nation:”

“Heavenly Father, FORGIVE President Bush. He cannot know what he is doing. If it be possible, STOP this prayer meeting from taking place. FORGIVE our nation for this grievous offense toward You. HAVE MERCY upon us. May your ministers across America DENOUNCE this wicked act, without hesitating.”

“NEUTRALIZE the spiritual wickedness & confusion that this act will release upon our land. Use this to AWAKEN Christians from our sinful lethargy. STOP our president from exalting the oppressive, soul-damning religion of Islam. In Jesus' Name, Amen” (Ex 20:3-7; 23:31-33; Dt 13:1-11; Is 42:11-23; Zech 1:12-17).
