Following is an excerpt from a book of the Palestinian Authority School Curriculum: 
“Palestine, the gift of the heavens to the earth is today the subject of the heart's aspirations for Christians and Moslems - representing half the world's population - and the struggle waged in it is not between Moslems and Jews alone, rather it is between Christianity and Islam on the one side, and Zionism on the other."
[p. 9, 10-11]¹²

It was not Arik Sharon’s visit on the Temple Mount – his inherent right as a Jew – that precipitated the outbreak of the present Intifada, but Israel’s withdrawal from South Lebanon under PM Ehud Barak, seen by the Arabs as a “retreat” by a “cowardly” enemy and as a “glorious victory” of their terrorist “heroes and martyrs.” That is why this Intifada continues. Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad and Islamic Brotherhood, together with Hizbullah fighters, imitate Hizbullah’s example: to keep up the killings and ambushes until Israel “retreats.” 

Terror organizations are gaining ground, influence and control in the Middle East as the UN General Assemblies and the UN Security Council encourage terrorism against Israel (and globally) by isolating Israel. And should a Palestinian State be established upon G-d’s own covenanted Land, it will become a terrorist enclave: Afghanistan will pale in comparison to this Palestinian state, which will be a haven for terrorists groups determined to annihilate Israel.

The West readily sacrifices Israeli lives on the altar of economy. Not one leader considers G-d and the fear of G-d. Not one bears in mind the oath of the Almighty – G-d’s Covenant with Abraham. Jewish lives are expendable… the Land of Israel is negotiable… the city of Jerusalem is the property of the world… Not even at the Temple Mount did the Christian world and the Vatican say, “Halt! This far and not further!

The U.S. as the “head” of the free “Christian” world, challenged the oath of the Almighty and touched the apple of G-d’s eye, when President Bush Jr. announced in the UN Assembly American support for the creation of Palestine, a sovereign Palestinian state side by side with Israel. Arafat’s eyes burned with hatred as he listened to Bush. His thoughts were almost audible: ‘That is what you think, Mr. Bush. There will be no Israel and Palestine side by side. There will be only one state -- Palestine, from Lebanon to Eilat!’

Psalm 2 once again comes alive with present-day reality, for indeed, “What is the purpose for which the United Nations conspire, and for which the peoples plot in vain? The heads of State set themselves and the rulers of the earth take counsel together [at the UN Headquarters in New York City], against the L-RD and His anointed [nation], saying, “Let us burst their [covenant] bonds asunder, and cast their cords [of a national presence] from us.” 

As a consequence the very heart of world trade and capitalism – the WTC and the Financial Center – in New York got hit. G-d remembered this “great city’s” iniquities, “… for her sins are piled as high as heaven [her monumental sky scrapers testifying to her glory and pride]¹³ and G-d is ready to judge her for her crimes. ‘Do to her as she has done to you, and more – give DOUBLE penalty for all her evil deeds. She brewed many a cup of woe for others – give TWICE as much to her. She has lived in luxury and pleasure – match it now with torment and with sorrows. She boasts, ‘I am Queen(s) upon my throne. I am no helpless widow. I will not experience sorrow. Therefore the sorrows of death and mourning and pestilence [anthrax?] shall come upon her in a single day, and she shall be burned with fire; for mighty is the L-RD Who judges her.”¹⁴

“And the world leaders, who took part in her immoral acts and enjoyed her favors [presently assembled at the UN Headquarters in New York], will mourn for her as they see her smoke rising from her charred remains.”

“The merchants of the earth will weep and mourn for her, for there is no one left to buy their goods [Wallstreet and New York’s stock market experience extreme difficulties with great losses]. She was their biggest customer… And so the merchants who have become wealthy by selling her these things shall stand at a distance, fearing danger to themselves, weeping and crying, “Alas, that great city, so beautiful… In one moment, all the wealth of the city [contained in the WTC] is gone!”¹⁵

“And all the shipowners and captains of the merchant ships and crews will stand a long way off, crying as they watch the smoke ascend, and saying, ‘Where in all the world is there another city such as this?’” And they will throw dust on their heads in their sorrow and say, 'Alas, alas, for that great city! She made us all rich from her great wealth. And now in a single hour all is gone... '"¹⁶
