A report just reached me - however, unconfirmed - which I believe to be so relevant in regard to the days of evil ahead, that I feel I must yet add a pertinent portion of it to this letter. In view of the "intimate" friendship and "brotherhood" between Muammar Gadaffi, Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat, the following report - in addition to the eye opening links I placed concerning Gadaffi - is a most alarming signal of the evil that lies ahead. 

Barbara Richmond reports in her Special Jerusalem Report of Sunday, February 25, 2001:

The report we published two days ago concerning the near outbreak of war last Thursday was carried as the lead story on WORLDNETDAILY Saturday morning.   DEBKAfile, the source of the report, was also the first agency to expose Palestinians use of cell phones to set off bombs on Nov. 2, 2000.

Finally today comes this report regarding an agreement between Saddam Hussein and Yasser Arafat.  As Israeli security has confirmed that Arafat is doing nothing to stop the violence and is, in fact, giving the green light for it to expand in an effort to deflect unrest and anger towards himself within the Palestinian community, it has become known that the two leaders have made a secret agreement. 

The Palestinians propose stepping up their confrontation with Israel and at its climax, Yasser Arafat and his fellow Palestinian Authority members, including security service chiefs and the Gazan and Ramallah ruling elites will remove themselves, lock, stock and barrel, to Baghdad. The arrangements were drawn up when a high-ranking Palestinian delegation went to the Iraqi capital on Jan. 20. Its members, Farouk Kaddumi and Ahmed al-Azzam, finalized the details with Saddam Hussein. From a comfortable distance, Arafat proposes to continue managing the Palestinian  struggle, as he did after being expelled from Jordan in the 70s, from Beirut, and from Tunis, after he was expelled from Lebanon in 1982. 

The detailed Palestinian discussions with the Iraqi leader cover Arafat's fee for Iraqi hospitality and the freedom to reorganize his governing institutions in Baghdad. The agreed sum is reliably reported to have run into billions of dollars, for transfer to Saddam's private accounts in Europe.

Young Palestinians impatient to take over the reins of government may be looking forward to Arafat's disappearance, like some Israelis. But they will be disappointed; the Palestinian leader will retain a firm grip on the reins of government from its new seat, according to this scenario:

1.  As Ariel Sharon steps into office, the Palestinians will feign a peace overture, abort the negotiating process and then unleash a spate of vicious violence including acts of multiple terror.
2.  Sharon will order the army to execute surgical reprisals against Palestinian bases, terrorist chiefs and the various Palestinian security service headquarters. The Palestinians will scale their responses up to the level termed by Israel generals "strategic terrorism." They will also wield the heavy weapons smuggled wholesale at present into Gaza by sea from Egypt, Lebanon and Cyprus and from Jordan across the river.
3.  Israel tanks proceed to wipe out the bases of Palestinian security, the Tanzim militia, the Fatah and Jihad Islami.
4.  Saddam Hussein makes good on his threat to missile-attack Israeli cities. He has warned he can keep the blitz up daily for six months. That would add up to between 180 and 200 missiles, a quantity his arsenal is believed to hold after receiving deliveries from Russia and North Korea. The Iran-backed Shiite Hizballah will join the fray, shelling and rocketing Israel's northern towns and villages from Lebanon.
5.  Saddam asks Jordanian King Abdullah and Syrian president Assad for permission to send his armored divisions through their countries towards the Israeli frontier.
6.  Israeli armored columns recapture Palestinian West Bank towns to provide rear support for the Israeli forces advancing into Jordan and possible Lebanon to meet the Iraqi divisions. 
7.  At this juncture, the entire Palestinian leadership removes itself to Baghdad. Clearly, the Iraqi-Palestinian strategic and intelligence partnership will form a direct threat to the stability of most of the other Arab regimes, and the Americans are unlikely to sit still and watch the Middle East being torn apart from Baghdad. 

A word to the wise....keep this in mind as you watch events unfold in the next few weeks for evidence that this plan is being implemented.  I also encourage you to use this information as a guideline for your intercession on Israel's behalf.

After my recent email announcing the changes we are undergoing we have been overwhelmed with literally hundreds of emails.  The vast majority have been very supportive, congratulatory and enthusiastic. A small number have asked questions regarding my personal beliefs. It is impossible for us to answer all of you personally. Therefore, I would like to make the following statement.

The previous email announcement was for the purpose of announcing to you the launching of the new work that we will be doing through Lekarev which has three main focal points: 1) To continue to bring accurate, un-tainted reporting on what is really happening in Israel. 2) To provide a fresh outlet through which people can provide practical help and comfort to victims of terror and others in need, as well as assisting Jews from around the globe who desire to make Aliyah but are limited by their current financial means. 3) To open new doors of educational
opportunity both in and about the land and the faith.

In the educational vein, over the past 2-3 years, literally hundreds have called, written and emailed our office with precise questions about many issues: the pagan practices that infiltrated Christianity, the unbiblical traditions that ignored clear scriptural directives, and even doctrines long held sacred but whose foundations, when researched, were deeply troubling. 

Also over the past 2-3 years, hundreds of formerly traditional Christians have turned their backs on such things as Easter and Christmas, and turned to studying the Bible afresh, just for what it says. You are precisely the people who asked me for clear and unambiguous answers. You deserve to know what I have discovered. You deserve to have not just the answers but the facts and the scholarship that backs up those answers. 

Every bit of that is contained in my upcoming book, THE END OF EXILE. Nothing is held back.

In recent days, a very few people have posed questions for which they demanded a simple 'Yes - No' answer. I will not give that kind of answer. It is distinctly unfair to me, and to the hundreds who have communicated with me over these years and months. It is especially unfair to you who are asking for the simple answer, whether or not you are willing to recognize that. Meanwhile, to spread rumors, to forward anyone's personal emails without their permission, and to pass judgment without accurate information is unethical. I choose to refrain from 'fighting back' or from launching any kind of self-defense as to me that would be equally unethical and disrespectful toward others. History has had more than enough fights between Bible believers. I have no interest in being part of another one. The work of 15 months, my new book, will be my only answer. My only response at this time is to bless ALL of you who have written and to thank you for your support, your love and your concern.

The Scriptures were written by Hebrews. The culture, the history and the nature of the people whom G-d chose as His own peculiar treasure (Exod. 19:5) are intricately woven into the delivery of G-d's word to a needy world. Without understanding the nation and the people to whom the Scriptures were given some portions have inevitably been misinterpreted, and others have been completely misunderstood. Not to mention deliberate tampering with the Scriptures which church historians admit openly.

(1) Because my love for G-d led me to seek and to search for His truth; (2) because my public speaking and teaching profession brought me into contact with literally thousands of Bible students who raised the questions addressed in the book about to be published, and (3) because the coming of Mashiach (Messiah) and ultimate redemption is directly related to the end of spiritual (as well as physical) exile, I have invested years and particularly the past 12-15 months in intensive study of the Scriptures and searched out the best that Christian and Jewish scholarship has available.

The pursuit of truth necessitates a willingness to remain teachable. The closed mind learns nothing. As Herbert Spencer so aptly wrote: There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation. 

There is an ancient prayer that says:
>From the cowardice that shrinks from new truth,
>From the laziness that is content with half-truth,
>From the arrogance that thinks it knows all truth,
O G-d of truth, deliver us.

This is not about selling a new book - G-d forbid! I will give you the book if you cannot afford it but are sincere in your quest and will be honest enough to read it and examine its findings for yourself. This is about the search for TRUTH. I am doing everything in my power to have the book available as soon as possible and its release will be announced on the Lekarev Report.
