Some of you may remember the vision I had in 1979 regarding America. This was a vision of terror, like that of pharao’s seven thin cows swollowing up the seven fat and sleek ones: 

I saw a huge sea of crushed cars pushing toward me which, rather than crushing me, formed a protective roof over me. As I stood beneath the shelter of crushed cars, a torrent of water came rushing over it. From where I stood I could clearly see the impressive building of Capitol Hill  and masses of people running toward it seeking shelter from the huge flood. The waters rushed forcefully up the hill and into the building, causing the stone roof to crack and cave in. Falling pieces of stone smashed the people beneath. They scrambled desperately to escape the collapsing roof. Looking upwards to avoid the falling pieces, they didn’t see a huge hole which had opened up in the midst of Capitol Hill’s floor. Unaware, they fell into the hole while trying to escape death from the collapsing roof. Horrorstricken, I left the safety of the crushed cars and ran toward Capitol Hill to warn people of the hole, but no one heard me, no one heeded, not even one. Helplessly I watched the people fall in to the hole. The rushing waters had done their work, and the very thing to which the people ran for shelter from the flood became their downfall and their grave. 

“Warn the people not to invest any of their money in any of the government ventures, bonds or accounts. ALL will be lost, no matter how great a temporary gain some may make. Judgment is decreed upon the American Government,” the Lord said. This judgment was sealed by  President Bush’s and Secretary of State Baker’s Tunis Talks with the PLO. During President Reagan’s tenure judgment was postponed (like Nineveh’s judgment got delayed), but now the measure has been filled up doubly by President Clinton, who is the co-signer of the Oslo Accords and the Wye Summit Agreements. There is no reversing of this divine judgment, and any prophecy to the contrary is a lie. The prophets in Jeremiah’s and Ezekiel’s days prophesied lies, causing the people to perish rather than prepare for evil days ahead. 

In 1979, when there was no sign of doom and collapse, I was ridiculed and the message of warning not taken seriously. The same happened to David Wilkerson  who had received a very similar message of warning. 

Even Derek Prince, a well known preacher and teacher on Israel and Messiah Yeshua, has the last few years devoted almost his entire time of ministry to the U.S. due to the tremendous burden he has for the saints there. 

I am not a doomssayer, but the Word clearly says: “A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple goes on and suffers for it”⁷. The virtuous woman sees to it that her family and household is well provided for and safe⁸, and does not remain idle in the face of approaching disaster. Calamity must strike the global economy to spur the one-world banking and trade system, the one of the "beast". Once the global economy is secured in a uni-system, the “domino effect” is nipped in the bud. The so-called "Anti-christ" may be the architect of this one world system, by which he will "save" the world out of the economic debacle. It will seem to be a magnificent blessing, the solution to salvaging all failing economies. 

Let us prepare for the possibility of a very bumpy transition into the next millennia. My family did not believe that Hitler would ever do what some people said he would and hence failed to leave Germany when there was still time. They  paid with their lives for ignoring the warning signals. I surely don't want to repeat their mortal error. Better to be prepared than overwhelmed by disaster, because we ignored the warnings. Had Noah not believed the coming of a flood and not obeyed God, he and his family would have perished together with all the others. But Noah took the warning to heart and made preparation as instructed by G-d, and so escaped. 

G-d has been warning us since 1979, and with increasing urgency during the last few years. We are not meant to suffer loss and go down with the worldwide economic disaster. However, those who refuse to take heed and rather listen to lying prophets will have no one to blame but themselves. G-d was faithful, and so were (are) His messengers. 

Indeed, we have not received a spirit of fear, and I do not in the least intend to instill fear in you. What we need is good common sense and enough wisdom and faith to gear up for the change of the millennium. The Lord is standing at the door! Let us trust and obey our Heavenly Father Who promised that when we pass through the waters He will be with us; swelling rivers shall not overwhelm us; and even when we walk through fire, it shall not burn us, and the flame shall not consume us⁹. 

G-d did NOT promise that we would never go through waters, rivers, fire and flames. Only false prophets promise such things. They are LIES! What our Heavenly Father DID promise is that He would safely guide us through such troubles. However --- G-d does not protect nor help fools, nor reward presumptiousness! Those who say - while they clearly hear the words of warning - that the Lord will take care of them when the time comes, and that there is no need to make preparations for that would be a lack of faith, seem not to realize that G-d indeed  takes care of them --- by warning and instructing them. 

Had David said, “G-d has anointed me. I shall never be moved,” and failed to flee from Saul when he sought his life, he would have been killed. David even lived among the Philistines in Ziklak to be safe from Saul. Joseph and Miriam fled from Herod to Egypt with Yeshua because that’s how and where G-d was protecting them. Had they not fled, we dare not think what could have happened at the massacre of the infants at Bethlehem! And our Lord did not just stay around Nazareth and Jerusalem when they sought to kill Him¹⁰. He hid and fled to safety, until His time had come. 

Let us not put the Lord to the test by acting presumptiously. Let us walk in the obedience of faith, with wisdom and foresight, without fear.
