"The strategy of lawlessness is terror. The justification of terror is the 'Jihad'. The justification of the 'Jihad' is Islam" (Annelore).

The FBI believes there are illegal Moslem Jihad groups (do we also have "legal" ones?) operating in California, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Texas. They are engaged in criminal activities to oppose nations, governments and individuals that do not share in its interpretation of Islamic law. Allegedly Egyptian Sheikhh Omar Abdel-Rahman is the religious leader of a Jihad army that planned to "wage a war of urban terrorism" in the United States protesting against US support of Israel and Egypt. He and 11 others are accused of plotting to bomb US landmarks and involvement in the November 1990 murder of Rabbi Meir Kahane in New York²⁴.

"The capital of Israel is Jerusalem," said New York Representative Bill Paxon (Republican), who heads the 50-member House Republican Israel Caucus. "There are many divisions between many countries over many issues and yet we keep our embassy in that nation's capital. We have an honest disagreement with the administration. We hope they will not use Jerusalem as a bargaining chip [with Israel for more concessions to the Palestinians]."

In March 1994, Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan (Democrat) and Connie Mack (Republican) in a Senate letter demanded that the administration veto a UN Security Council resolution after the Hebron massacre that referred to Jerusalem as part of the "occupied Arab territories." In 1992 a routine "Dear Colleague" letter was circulated in the House, urging congressional support for Jerusalem as a "united city" under Israel's rule.

Secretary of State Christopher told a House subcommittee that Washington did not want to do anything at present that would disrupt delicate talks between Israel and the Palestinians, especially over the sensitive issue of Jerusalem. In the Oslo agreement, Israel and the PLO made Jerusalem a so-called "final status" issue to be decided in a THREE-YEAR ROUND OF TALKS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN NEXT YEAR.

But other legislators rejected the notion that Congress must await the conclusion of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations before acting on the embassy question . New York Representative Charles Schumer (Democrat) said: "All we want to do here is to show that a large number of members want ISRAEL to CHOOSE its capital and NOT have OUTSIDE FORCES DICTATE."

Sen. Hank Brown (Republican), chairman of the Near East subcommittee, said: "Some have said we dare not take a position on this for fear it may undercut the negotiations. And I know they're sincere. But if denying Israel's sovereignty is on the table, then we're moving backwards. Any negotiations have to involve recognition of Israel's sovereignty."

During his presidential campaign, Clinton told Jewish leaders in New York in March 1992: "I believe in the principle of moving our embassy to Jerusalem, but I do not think we should do anything to interfere with the peace process."

But even though these Senators and Congress men say that it is "clearly one of their options" to legislate a move of the embassy, they all refused to commit themselves to supporting a potential legislative effort to mandate the move by law. They all said that this was premature. Premature of what?! After the "final status" negotiations it may prove TOO LATE for any US administration to move the embassy. This would place America into the camp of the enemies of G-d, in the Lord's eyes. 

I urge you, therefore, brothers and sisters, to pray in the spirit of 1 Timothy 2:1-6, 8 that the American administration will NOT WAIT until those talks are concluded. Tel Aviv is not the capital of Israel, it always was and will be Jerusalem. 

"...All this is but the beginning of the birth-pangs," the Lord said, speaking of wars and rumors of wars, of nation rising against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and of famines and earthquakes in various places. Surely, dear friends, you have noticed that the birth-pangs of the Lord's arrival and His millennial reign have begun? Let us therefore set our lives in order, and monitor carefully the increasing signs of "birth-pangs." Henceforth let us be single-minded in keeping His Word and walking worthy of His Name and our calling.

I beg of you, dear friends, don't be annoyed with the length of this letter, which fills the place of two bi-monthly ones. Do not think it burdensome. Our Lord would not have repeated it so many times, "Watch therefore! For you do not know the day or hour!", if our watchfulness would not be vitally important. It is my holy duty to help you understand what is going on, and to keep on teaching and warning you, so that your insight and knowledge of the truth will be your guard and safety. The Children of the Day do not slumber, they keep awake and watchful, so that the Day of the Lord will not catch them by surprise. Only the slothful, who procrastinate and slumber, will get caught. They were destined to be with the Lord, but their slothfulness entrapped them in the trials on earth²⁵.
