Dear Friends of "Or Tzion,"

it is my fervent prayer, that the shalom of G-d which passes all understanding, shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Yeshua HaMashiach¹. May He fill you with love for the truth and prepare you for the evil days ahead, to uphold the Word of truth in an ocean of falsehood and deceit.

The word shalom-peace has become the favorite word of terrorists and warmongers. It's meaning may be summarized in the sense of peace-making parties putting an end to hostilities, making amends and restitution with one another for mutual safety, welfare and prosperity. It implies friendliness with one another in a peaceable, quiet, and perfect atmosphere. 

This concept of "peace" has lost its value as of lately. It has become a cheap word, on account of the perfidious lie called the "peace-process". In the mouths of Yitzchaq Rabin, Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat it has become a "dirty" word. Sadly, the Nobel peace prize has also been rendered worthless. By awarding an arch-terrorist of utter lawlessness the tribute of such high honor, has emptied the prize of its values. Arafat is one of the worst murderers in history, whose diplomacy is based upon deceit and lies. In addition, by honoring a man who betrayed the Covenant of G-d, His people and land, a new "value" has been conferred upon the Nobel peace price: namely, that falsehood, deceit and betrayal are not only acceptable, but praise-worthy traits in leaders of today. Henceforth this award will be meaningless to anyone who indeed cherishes and pursues peace.

Furthermore, the G-d of all the earth has this to say: 

"Ah, you who drag iniquity along with cords of falsehood, who drag sin along with cart ropes, who say, 'Let him make haste, let him speed his work that we may see it; let the plan of the Holy One of Israel hasten to fulfillment, that we may know it!' Ah, you who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Ah, you who are wise in your own eyes, and shrewd in your own sight... Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scoffers who rule this people in Jerusalem. Because you have said, 'We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement; when the overwhelming scourge passes through it will not come to us; for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter'; therefore thus says the LORD G-D... I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plummet; hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter. Then your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overwhelming scourge²  passes through you will be beaten down by it. As often as it passes through, it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be SHEER TERROR to understand the message" (Is 5:18-21; 28:14-19, RSV).

The Oslo and Cairo Agreements with the PLO are indeed a covenant with death and an agreement with Sheol. They are based on lies and carried out by falsehood. Labor party officials already held secret meetings with PLO officials in 1990. They betrayed and deceived the Israeli people already prior to the 1992 elections by concluding secret agreements with the PLO, such as pledging to lift the ban on PLO contacts and Palestinian self-rule, which would lead to a Palestinian state. Whereas the PLO continues terror attacks against Israel and violations of both the Oslo- and Cairo-Agreements, and fails to revoke the articles of the Palestinian covenant, which call for the destruction of Israel.

Following the horrible slaughter on Sunday, January 22, at Beit Lid, near the coastal town of Netanya, he alluded to the suicide bombers by declaring: "We are ALL martyrs." He did not object to their bloody deeds, but to having left traces which led to the Palestinian Authority (PA). The slaughter of nearly 20 people, whose bodies were torn to pieces, with parts of limbs strewn across the carnage and heads ripped off, and other some 40 people injured, was a "little thing" in his eyes, which did not merit Israel's closure of Gaza.

But the Israeli government turns the other cheek: "The Israelis are bothered by the terror, the Palestinians by the settlements," Rabin said at a press conference. Accordingly, the government clamped down on settlers and on new community development projects. They have been marked the new "villains" who, with their staunch stand on G-d's promises, impede the "peace-process." The slaughter of 126 of their own citizens since Oslo instead, is no impediment in their pursuit of a delusion called "peace."

"This is too sickenly absurd to be believed," said former foreign minister David Levy, alluding to the accusations of Egyptian President Mubarak, that Israel impedes peace and encourages terror by protecting its own citizens. And the world Media follows suit in the same tone.
