The world’s ocean floors ³¹ are carved through by three gigantic faults ³², dividing the earth into three portions. One such fault runs through the Indian Ocean floor (see image above and below) and stretches its “finger-tip” as it were, right underneath Israel along the Jordan Valley³³. The coming enormous release of nuclear, biological and chemical waste into the atmosphere will break the “bond” that held our earth together, causing violent volcanic activity, land-plates to move and the three gigantic faults to part with greater velocity. Inactive volcanos and instantly created new ones will erupt fiercely everywhere, both on land and in the seas³⁴. Devouring fire will literally engulf the earth, making her fairly melt³⁵, causing gigantic columns of smoke to go up, which will spread over the burning earth like a thick blanket of darkness³⁶. 

The intensified activity of the earth’s plates ³⁷ not only will create spouts through which the subterranean fire and lava erupts, but will also trigger severe earthquakes, the forerunners of which occurred in Italy, Mexico-City, India and Armenia³⁸. One of those earthquakes will destroy a tenth of Jerusalem, killing 7,000 people³⁹. But the splitting apart of the three gigantic faults is what will destroy the earth’s present continents.

“Terror, and the pit, and the snare are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth! He who flees at the sound of the terror shall fall into the pit; and he who climbs out of the pit shall be caught in the snare. For the windows of heaven are opened and the foundations of the earth tremble. The earth is utterly broken, the earth is rent asunder, the earth is violently shaken. The earth staggers like a drunken man, it sways like a hut.”⁴⁰

“Then there will be an earthquake as has never been since men were on the earth.”⁴¹

It is this earthquake that will rent the earth asunder and shake her violently. In fact --- “The earth shall be shaken out of its place,” i.e. change of her axes⁴². 

New York City (which in light of Revelation 18:3-19 I believe to be the “great city”, and not Rome or Jerusalem) will be split into three parts, and the cities of the nations will fall. When one considers the gigantic sky-scrapers of America and of many big cities of the world, built by the pride of men and unto their glory, then one can well envision the immensity of the disaster to befall those cities: underneath their ruins will lie buried all the pride and wealth of men, all their glory, scheming, wheeling and dealing⁴³. 

Wealth, for which America has prostituted her last sense of justice and decency, will become her grave, as for Saudi-Arabia her oil. America will lie buried underneath the ruins of these symbols of her wealth, pride and power. She strove to reach the skies, instead those towers of her might will make her descend to Sheol⁴⁴. Neither wealth nor any work of man’s hands will deliver anyone⁴⁵. 

Beneath the impact of such enormous forces unleashed in her, the earth will sway to and fro, changing her axes, thereby creating tidal waves which destroy everything in their path. Riverbeds and seafloors will at once be laid bare, while islands submerge along with whole mountain ranges⁴⁶. The Continents, polluted and exploited, will disappear under masses of moving water⁴⁷, while what laid buried under the oceans for millennia will appear and form the new continents of a renewed “virgin earth.” Some former land plates will remain, like most of the Middle East, but its landscape will change as ridges from East and West push them up (and the present hill of G-d will be the highest of the mountains, the canopy of cloud and fire to be seen even from far)⁴⁸.
